Finally - we get an official "Doctor Who" convention. It takes place at the Millenium Centre in Cardiff on 24 and 25 March 2012. The programme of events is the same for both days - so you can pick which day to attend. Confirmed guests so far are Matt Smith and Steven Moffat. Tickets go on sale next week - convention tickets are £99 and there are extras available such as Matt Smith photo op etc for £25 each. Here's the full press release:

The Official Doctor Who Convention is a one day Convention, whereby the programme of events are the same for Saturday and Sunday. Visitors are therefore encouraged to choose which day they would like to attend.
Autograph and photo opportunities with the main cast members will be available as an upgrade option on a first come first served basis.
